There is a story-rich meaning behind the Claddagh design with the heart representing love, the crown representing loyalty, and the hands representing friendship.
When I started training in fine jewellery making with a Master Goldsmith the first item I handmade was centred on the iconic Claddagh. The Claddagh symbol is such a natural inclusion to the By Leahy collection and I am personally delighted to introduce it to you.
As a way of helping the thought process, I have put together the Sentiments Collection. These are Slips that have been engraved with symbols, popular mantras to live by, beautiful phrases, or special words. The Sentiments Collection will grow with time, but to start I have compiled the most requested and suitable suggestions for all occasions.
