I saw a kiss and heart in her signature...

I loved chatting with Catherine and her beautiful little Jules. When Jules wrote her signature, she paused for a moment and then added a heart, for her mum. 🥹 To capture Jules's fingerprint on the reverse side and to feel how the deep-etch engraving makes it feel like your almost touching her fingertip is extra special.

When I was working on translating the fingerprint I spotted two beautiful little features - a kiss and a heart in Jules's fingerprints. This work is so detailed but to notice something like this was very special.

 

It was a pleasure to make this Signature Slip and to bring new meaning to an original piece.
