Remembering her mother gone before her...

I had the pleasure of meeting this customer in person. Deirdre had purchased this Landscape Slip Necklace from her home in New York. A gift for her friend, they were planning to visit Galway together the following week, and wanted to collect the present in-person. 

Any chance I get to meet my customers in person, I absolutely love to do so.

We met in a coffee shop in town and after chatting about their Galway roots it transpired that her grandmother actually owned a fabric shop two doors down from where we met.

This particular piece was engraved with both her name and her mother's name, in her mother's handwriting. Her friend immediately put it on and gave me back the gift box, saying said she would never take it off again, that's how precious it was to her.
