For the last two years, I’ve held a giveaway of an item from the collection for the winner to keep or gift to a special lady in their life to coincide with #IWD.

With the horror that is going on in Ukraine, thinking of everyone who is affected but most particularly women and children, this year, for the next week, By Leahy is donating 10% of all sales to UNICEF Ireland & The Irish Red Cross. I will also be matching the donations from the sales. (The donations will be split evenly between each charity).

💙💛 Red Cross teams are on the ground now in Ukraine and will continue their work to repair vital infrastructure, support health facilities, and help families with life-saving food and hygiene items. Your donation will help those affected get food, medicine, shelter and water. Your support will also help the Red Cross assist those displaced by conflict.

💙💛 Half a million children have already fled Ukraine to neighbouring countries, with the number of refugees continuing to grow. Homes have been damaged or destroyed, and there are reports of schools, orphanages and health centres sustaining heavy damage. UNICEF is on the ground, working to reach vulnerable children and families with essential services including health, education, protection, water and sanitation.
