'Home Is Where the Heart Is' Collection is rooted in the connection to Ireland and being Irish. The Irish diaspora, no matter where they are in the world will always have a place in Ireland that is truly home for them, a place where their heart truly lies.

A conversation with a friend living abroad, not long after Christmas, really put the emotion into the collection. For her, irrespective of the number of years it has been since she left Ireland, a piece of her will always be here. It is a shared feeling of so many Irish people abroad, and those who are about to move abroad... Ireland will always be in their hearts and Ireland will always be their home.

The centrepiece of the collection holds an engraving of the beautiful teddy bear shape of Ireland and places a heart at its core – for every Irish person, home is where the heart is.

Our beautiful Irish language, a language which can say the simplest things in the most story-rich ways, ribbons through the collection in a series of carefully considered expressions. Working closely with Údarás na Gaeltachta for their nod of approval, I am really delighted that this collection has come to fruition.
