Custom-Made By Leahy Designs

There has been a notable increase in By Leahy customers wanting to tailor items in the collections. They might see a design they like but want a thicker chain, or a shorter/longer length chain, or have a Slip attached in a different way. Some customers have a sentimental chain that they have been handed down and want to add a personalised Slip to it.

The ways in which By Leahy pieces have been tailored – without losing their characteristic simplicity and minimalist look and feel – has resulted in the creation of some beautiful pieces. 

As they don't sit easily into a current collection, I have created a new collection in itself - Custom-Made By Leahy. I will begin to add to this collection if certain items are increasingly requested, such as the three showcased below.

Above, the 'Signature Slip Necklace' was custom-made for the truly original and iconic Lyra. Taking a classic By Leahy Slip, I suspended it from a stunning light-catching diamond-cut chain. On the reverse side, two incredible achievements were date-stamped. The launch of her debut album and the date it hit no.1 in the Irish charts - knocking nono other than Beyonce off the top spot.

Merging the Landscape Slip Bracelet with the Story Collection, the two items below have been requested a couple of times. Made in both solid 9ct yellow gold and rose gold, they are also available in 18ct yellow gold and sterling silver. Unlike the Story Bracelet, the Slip runs flush with the chain, which is substantially thicker than the Landscape Slip Bracelet – for those who prefer a more statement look and feel.
